so I've got a setup of plants that is in a DWC i self made, and the bottom leaves of the plants are turning a bright orange-yellow. They are just entering the veggy stage a few days ago, and the cotyledons (1st set of leaves, the round ones from the sprout) turned bright orange, and got crispy.
Now i'm noticing the 1st set of true leaves (single blade) color turning.
the new growth is a very healthy and pretty green color. not too dark and doesn't have a marbled or two-tone look (no light spots)
I'm used to soil, and have never really come across this issue, i haven't changed my tea formula or anything either. I have a double-air pump going into the tub w/ two large air stones, lots of bubbles.
Roots have not come through the cups w/ hydroton rocks (red round clay pellets) and the sprouts started in a peat pod then placed into a rock wool cube. There is no visible light issues through the cups into the tub so the roots aren't being exposed to light either.
No pictures, dog ate digital camera.
Then vietnamese neighbor ate dog.
but the dog really did f' up my camera, hoping for a new on christmas ::
