Hydration

I am growing about 2 miles from home, outdoor.
it's difficult to get away and walk that much every day to water them (or when they need it)
so i was curious about something, if i were to pour a lot of water on all of them once a week would that be ok? would it kill them? how can i make less trips but still give them what they need

once a week should be OK as long as you are not in the desert and it's not over 35c

alright great, but if i am doing it once a week about how much water should i use for each plant?
