hybrid growroom

Closet with multiple solatubes or similar product, supplemented with cfls. I see many conversations of tying this out- but haven't heard of anyone actually doing it. Think it will work with good ventelation??

Has anyone ever grown anything with solar tubes?

what are the lumens I wonder, I f you take off the crappy diffuser they come with and leave it open. I wonder that. Also it would be cool to augment with a 400. Like these giant white tents that let some light thru I saw outside for a grow. HIDS and the sun, like a reg greenhouse! So many lumens.

I remember reading somewhere a large solar tube can produce 50,000 lumens.... you could diy install the dome on roof above a closet & run all those lumens straight down special mylar coated ducting that is included with the kit.

I'm just using "solatube" as an example there are many types.
