HVAC Question

My house was built in the 40's so no wall insulation though it does have new windows and ceiling insulation.
3 tons of AC both units pretty new.

I have a large aquarium in addition to my grow room so I have a lot of humidity so I run a de-humidifier.
HID lights = 3400w between grow and aquarium. Temps hit 86 inside today so I had to shut down 1800 w to keep it at that point and the aquarium still cycled(the lights) all day. It is on a controller.

I am venting lights in grow to/from outside. Air scrubber inside.

Here is my problem I can't install a split system to add capacity. are there any of the portable units worth messing with?

Perhaps lighting at night instead of during the day to take advantage of lower outside temps.

Insulating the top of the reflectors?

I had temps pretty steady until I tried to bring the humidity down in here.
I assume that evaporation was helping with temps.
I put the covers on the aquarium on when this occurred.

btw outside temps were about 96 today.
