hurry please help

i am about to go get 2 4' floros and need help on what ones i should get? in vegging!?!

I went to home depot and bout two fixtures that held two 40W bulbs that ran about 15 buck a piece. Just a regular cfl will do but their are gro lights you can purchase but a regular floro has a pretty good light spectrum. How many plants do you have and what is size is the area your growing in?

40watt cool white just get 23w cfl's more directed light with cfls and less power consumption.

If there is a walmart near you they have 4' floros for like 8 dollars and change. If you need 2 buy three so you can have a backup. If you are just getting bulbs I like the Phillips plant and aquarium. They are in a green sleeve and are about 14 dollars each but are well worth it. I have been using mine for about 8 months and havent had one go out yet and I run 24/0. They kind of have a red light to them. My plants eat that shit up. If money is not an issue Lowes has some fixtures that are about 30 dollars that are diamond plate looking and are very reflective and also have a chain on off switch. Hope this was the info you were looking for.

Dont get cool white, their spectrum sucks. And to make cfls worth it you have to have about a million of them.

so phillips garden lights if they don't have themm what kind of spectrum are we looking for? 2700k? 5000k? or what one i don't know

There are several kinds of garden lights. Do you already have a fixture? If so what wattage is it? and the 2500 and 5000 is not spectrum that is lumens. The more lumens the better obviously. But most bulbs dont have spectrum info on their boxes. But will have lumens. Anything that is not soft white is reccomended. The spectrum on a soft white is the completely wrong one. Plants need color in their light. Like the sun puts off all spectrums of light that's why its the best light. But if you can find a bulb that puts off a blue hue that is the best for veg. Red for Flower.

Go to Walmart they have 2 4' daylight( 6500K) fluo. for $8.98 for (2pk) I just bought 2 packs. They are around 3200 lumens each. you want daylight (6500K)or cool white(4100-5000K) in the veg and want soft white / warm in flow. (2700K)
