humidty low?

i think my guage is broken or something, the humidity is at 20% and i got a 400 watt hps going with a swamp cooler in a 2x8 closet

is that going to be a problem or wat?

it could become one. sound slike you need a new gauge-does it feel dry in there? move your hygrometer outside and see if the reading chages. take ahot shower and read the hygrometer to see if it changes. if it reads high with a hot shower than it is working. if your humidity is low simple fix is wet towels in some bowls

I got a similair setup as u, witha 400w, and an ac keepin everything cool. My humidity rarely went above 30% even with a humidifyer. Anyhoo, all I've found is that the plantwill dry out much faster. U always hear to water like every three days right? Well for mine its usally every one or two days when the pot feels empty. make what u got work to the fullest of its potential

alright so i figured out my lil swamp cooler i have in there wasnt working, it wasnt pushing the water threw the fan to cool it down, but now that i fixed it, the temp is at 78 degrees and humidty is just a little over 60,
will that be fine?
that swamp cooler shot it from 30 to 60 lol
so i guess it is working

78 being the max.

if it is a little over 60 percent humidty will that be bad?

60 is good. over 75 not good
