Humidity problem

So I just got my grow tent and the humidity in its really low there any suggestions and how to make the humidity go up
 
A humidifier is the best way to deal with it, but on a temporary basis, a big bowl of water in the tent, or a large towel soaked with water hanging in the tent works as well.

Bonus points if you drape the towel into the bowl so the towel wicks the liquid. Then you just have to keep filling the pot.

It's not a great solution, but it will increase your humidity slightly.
 
If heat is also an issue look at swamp coolers. They will increase humidity AND cool your room. Just be careful because they create lots of bacteria.

The towel idea is like a low-end swamp chiller. This is the idea of evaporative cooling. I would put the cooling unit in the same room as the grow but far away from the plants to allow humidity to mix in the air.

what exactly is really low humidity and what temperatures are you seeing? Is this HPS/HID or LEDS?
 
Humidifier in tent, small with a built in hygrometer so it turns itseld on and off at the % you want. Spend the $50 or $70 once and you are set. Get one with dimmable lights!

Some of the expensive digital ones have a major, significant flaw. When they shut off due to running out of water or power outage, you have to re-set all of the configurations after they turn back on. In other words, many of them aren't conducive to automation.
 
I was curious what the OP's RH was as well.. Mine is at 40% and 76F, in veg.
I was thinking it may be on the low side and I should try to bump it, but not sure if I need to worry
