i was having trouble with humidity with 1 600w hps and humidity was at 30% or lower in a room 10 x 6 x 7 as i only had a few plants in, and it was very dry and plants were struggling, and i had dry, wilty plants, i got an oven tray and put an inch of perlite on the bottom and half filled it with water, i made a space and i put it under the light with the plants, my average humidity is now between 40% - 50% i top up the oven tray when it dries out. and my plants are doing brill. lush green and plenty foilage.

Good Solution, if your in veg you could even take that humidity a little higher.... Wet towel's hanging works also!

Get it up to 60-70 and they will love you for it!!
I had a low Humidity for a good bit, but got it up to 60, and I can physically feel a difference in the leaves... They feel more velvety... Really nice.

Good job bro keep on growing!

How long does the oven tray of wet perlite last for?

I used to raise humidity using a single 600w by hanging a few damp towels in the room.. Raised humidity a good few %. But this was only until the plants were old enough and bushy enough to transpire more and add to the humidity.

Once my plants hit around 10inches tall under the 600w they transpire enough and humidity is no longer a problem.
