I am going into week 5 in veg. Indoor, in a tent using LED. My humidity is at 20-25% do you think is fine or should I raise the humidity levels?
They will appreciate anything you can do to raise humidity. Ideally you want like 60% through veg.I am going into week 5 in veg. Indoor, in a tent using LED. My humidity is at 20-25% do you think is fine or should I raise the humidity levels?
It should be about 50-60% RH until buds begin forming.I am going into week 5 in veg. Indoor, in a tent using LED. My humidity is at 20-25% do you think is fine or should I raise the humidity levels?
I struggle with all Amazon reviews now. A product is either the biggest POS on the market, or the best thing in the worldI fully agree about the Amazon reviews. If you really want to lose faith in society, read the questions and answers. There’s some real gems in there.
Ideally you would want to raise it. Although I haven't tried to raise mine and my plants have been growing fine. Mines usually lower than 20%. My gauges are reading "LL" right now, which means below 10. I'm sure they might be happier with more humidity, but I have an exhaust fan constantly removing air from my room and sending it outside, and so its super dry in my bedroom.I am going into week 5 in veg. Hopefully you have a diffuser with a click on style power button/switch. The one I have doesn’t, so putting on a timer doesn’t work. Thankfully it has a built in hygrometer. Works quite well after a little tinkering with the fan and vents. Also watch your watering with higher humidity.Have you had any issues with the plants due to the low humidity? I just started a grow this week, currently 2 out of 5 popped and are shedding their seed coat. I noticed earlier that the humidity in the closet was low, around 30%. I just grabbed a small oil diffuser that my wife wasn't using and put that in there. I have the fans and exhaust off for the time being. I hooked it up to a smart timer and I'm hoping I can get it all sorted out before it becomes an issue.
It is the push button kind. I was at 30%, 43% now. I may leave it as is until the plants are in the dwc and see what the humidity is with the air pumps running, etc.Hopefully you have a diffuser with a click on style power button/switch. For seedlings you can cover them with something clear and then slowly open up whatever you are covering them with to get them used to the humidity. Seedlings enjoy a high humidity level.Have you had any issues with the plants due to the low humidity? I just started a grow this week, currently 2 out of 5 popped and are shedding their seed coat. I don't use a dome for any seedlings even with my super low RH. Clones, yes.For seedlings you can cover them with something clear and then slowly open up whatever you are covering them with to get them used to the humidity. Seedlings enjoy a high humidity level.
