I use Humboldt Master A&B and love it. I no longer give a second thought to pH and I can feed heavily with no sign of nute burn. I'll never switch.

i havent checked my ph a single time while using them iv only had one nute burn incident. Do you think that the master a and b are superior to the three part?

I don't think Humboldt offers anything original as their 3 part is a knock-off of GH's 3 part and their Master A&B is probably a copy of AN's sensi bloom series. Even if they were original formulas, none of the resulting NPK ratios will give you the best yields.

i seem to be having great results with them original or not. there on the cheaper side thats why i like them but do you think it would be worth it to sepnd a little extra on the gh or sensi

You'd be buying the same fertilizer you already have if you went to GH or AN. Try to find a flowering formula with a 1-3-2 NPK ratio as that will out perform the NPKs being offered by the brands mentioned in this thread.

I had nowhere near the results with gh that I have with Humboldt. maybe gh copied THEIR formula from Humboldt!

your not a fan of the 0-6-2? what are the added benefits of a 1-3-2 ratio?
0-6-2 is far from a desirable stand-alone NPK value/ratio. 1-3-2 during flowing is a nice balance of what the plant needs during that stage. It wont turn your plants yellow from lack of nitrogen (though for the first few weeks of flower I add a little nitrogen) and it's not dumping on the phosphorus and potassium like a lot of cannabis specific nutrients tend to do.

so do you think i should add more nitrogen since thats what im lacking?
That depends on your medium and how your plants look. If you're growing in supersoil or ff ocean forrest or something else with nutrients in it, you may not need more nitrogen. If you're in hydro or soiless, I could guarantee you'll need more N than none at all.

What are the NPK values on the bottles that you're using?

Your plants look good but you have a long way to go. I just don't like Humboldt as a company as when I called them about 6 months ago with a question, they literally told me to 'google it'.

Using micro and bloom in flower in the ratios that's often recommended yields something like a 1-2-2 NPK ratio.

PERFECT! ok got your attention. I started out with GH nutes when I started up the grow room again about 3 years ago. They were great, cheap and easy to use, but I knew with the light I was using I should have seen better results. I switched over to the humboldt 3 part line with the recommendation from the local hydro store guy. Had better results from beginning to end. When I went back again I decided to upgrade to the Master A&B series. Holy shit! lol. I will never switch again. Master A&B is the beez neez. Depending on how much your using its kind of expensive. But I got a huge tip for ya. I got my A&B Master gallon jug set on ebay for a hundred bucks. Wormie wanted 80 a bottle. I live like 15 minutes from him. And the prozyme which is the most used was 140. same seller 90 bucks and all 3 were free shipping. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EVERY ADDITIVE! If you dont you will notice a difference. trust me.
