I've been using triacontanol for about a month and a half and am about to take my first harvest with tria being a major contributor. So far, it's looking good for weight, every bud appears to be hardened, I'm a good week ahead of schedule. When I put that plant into bloom, it wasn't as big as I'm used to putting in and was only 6 weeks so I only expect about 3/4lb from it, but I am certain it did better due to the tria. 3 weeks older in another bloom room is another cutting from the same batch described above, the 2nd has grown tall with tighter node spacing and all of the buds seem to be developing a bit quicker than normal for this pheno I've been running. Also, in veg, I just set a personal record for rooting clones in rockwool at 6 days. I am about 100% successful, but usually in 10-12 days to root.
I still want more time to work with it, but I have 3 equally timed bloom rooms, I chop every 3 weeks and have all stages of growth alive at any given time so I can test things on my whole crop and learn 4 months of information in one month. I've read in passing that elevated K will harden buds and is why I jack my K up for the final week and that seems to work for the good tops, not so much for the down low stuff. But if you can get your hands on tria, do so. I bought the powder and cooked enough to make a gallon of 25ppm which I bet is more than 25x stronger than what you'll find in a $50 quart. If you live in the states, check out Power Grown, they have a bunch of PGRs, some of the good ones and some of the bad ones. Buyer beware, lol.
