Huge Clone Issue, Swollen Stems

Ok, heres the deal. I moved about 9 months ago and about 5 months ago the cloning situation started going WAY downhill. I used to have about 95% success, now im lucky if i get 8 - 10% success. What makes it worse is i strictly do SOG, so my havests have gone to about nothing. Ive had the same issue with 3 different strains, 2 different cloning hormones, 3 different types of water, scraping the stem/not scraping the stem, meticulous cleaning of EVERYTHING, and even treating some of my water with rhizotonic. I get the same results, EVERY TIME...i get the swollen stems that look like its trying to root, it just doesnt. Ive even switched up my cycle as in leaving the dome on for 2 weeks, compared to taking it off after 4 days, and everything in between. They stay green too.

Tried 1 or 2 23w 5600K CFLs
Rock wool cubes presoaked ph5.5 24 hrs (tried tap, filtered and distilled/with and without rhizotonic)
Humidity stays between 85 - 99%
Temps between 75 to 82
Rockwool temps around 85
With and without heat mats

Unfortunately its too the point where to even keep anything going ive had to go to the clubs to buy all my clones. What the hell is going wrong here?

Pics are of 12 day old clones. This is as far as they get, i never have roots stick out anymore.

But i went from having roots after 9 days to just these swollen nubs. In the 2 years i got good results, i was cloning once every 2 weeks. They never end up growing roots now, they just stay like this. I have let them go 4 weeks before until i started over. I know there is something happening here that isnt ok.

started over?

what do you mean?
you never finished...how do you start over?

Tell me you started with new bulbs for a start, then I'll pipe down....

you just threw perfectly good clippings away?

I moved from fl to mt and def noticed cuts took almost twice as long on average to root, just be patient.

Started over meaning I threw them out. 4 weeks doesnt work for me, it just cant for my cycle. For 2 full years I got roots in at most 14 days, but usually around 9. For the past 5 months, i cant get roots to pop out to save my life. A month for clones to establish a good root system in rockwool enough to be transplanted? Thats not right. Thats why im here, I was wondering if anyone had any idea what possibly could have changed.

why not try instead of scraping the stem doin little cuts on one side of stem like a fish hook do like 4 - 5 cuts on one side of stem

also when u clean your stem cutting away newgrowth try cutting your 45 degree into where there would be newgrowth coming out of stem then make cuts goin uplike a fish hook i hope you understand what im trying to say also can take up to 20 days for roots to show just be patient most clone problems occur from people bothering them let it alone mist keep under domes and other then that dont touch keep your lights real close and it should work

Im seriously just days away from doing that, found some great DIY instructions and i like building things myself. I was wondering if maybe the rockwool was an issue.

why not go back to basics and get some 1" or 2" trays a dome seedling starter . clonex / or powder and give it a go

cause there more factors that can fck up thats why and also when i clone i like to clone 400 -900 clones with 99.9 percent rate
thinking it would cause a small fortune to do that in diy
you need airpumps water heaters all plugged into power what if power goes out for a extended period of time water cools down etc
overal costs just in my opinion start things simple once you master it and you wanna get into diy then by all means

500-900 whew that would be a HELL of a aerocloner but i will say i experienced much the same problem with rockwool cubes almost verbatim.(went from roots in 2weeks tops to over a month) built myself an aerocloner and i LOVE it. roots 7-9 days EVERY time. small aquarium heater should take care of any cold problems and if the power goes out your fuked anyway. an op of that size should have backup power supply for the basics like pumps i would think. and a redundant pump system covers you in case of a pump failure. stinkbuds "harvest a pound every 3 weeks" thread has about the easiest instructions to build an aerocloner that i have found just scale it up to your size.

lol, I don't really clean any of my utensils for taking clones and have a 95% success ratio. Maybe I am just lucky?

i just use a submersible water pump with a DIY venturi on it for bubbles...the pump puts out plenty of heat...

a gallon jar and tap water...i donno...they go by themselves
