hey whats up i came across a 250 watt hps that was a street light it has the sensor on top to tell it when its night time on top of the fixture and it has wires coming from that...that go to the internals
i have another similar light that was a old street light and i just put tape over the photoperiod sensor thing and that keeps it from turning off but i was wondering if there is a way to bypass it by like cuting the wires and connecting 2 of them or something along those lines well hope someone can help i will post some pics of the light tomorro tired as hell peace out... widow:peace:

yeah there sure is, i used to have a grow years back with 7 of the 70 watt street lights that i "found" what you need to do is basicly rewire the whole thing from the ground up and simply leave out the photo period sensor from the loop, if i remember right they have a schematic on the inside next to the cap and all that shit, the little sticker in it will give you the order of how the power flows to the components, i cant remember off the top of my head how it goes exactly but thats what you have to do, its the right way to do it opposed to "tricking" the sensor

I got an old warehouse light myself 400wMH and just rewired it to make it a remote ballast and hood, the girls love it
