hps mixed with cfl

Ok today I bought a 150 watt hps my flower room that is 6sq ft will have 150 watt hps 2x65watt 27k cfls, 2x26 watt 27k cfls and 2x26 watt 65k cfls tottaling 5000 lumens a sq ft what do u thinkwill this work?

Of course it will work, it's light, and plenty of it. Just need to watch your heat.

Heat may be an issue if you don't plan your ventilation well. Check out my sig, I also use CFLs and HIDs and so far I am living the results. Is nice to have extra light where you need it.

Most defiantly will work i myself have 4 of those 68 watt cfls that i at one time used to add supplemental light to my plants lower branches. The buds grew BIG that were all within 6 or 7 inches of those bulbs, those buds usually would have been scrap or turned to shake.


I get mine at homedepot for 15 dollars there TCP brand.

Actually my 2700s are only 40W.
