Hps/mh question

Alrighty flolks just another quick question! While browsing through my local Lowes I came across some 250w & 400w hps bulbs and also some 250w & 400w MH bulbs! any reason why they dont sell the ballasts or sockets for these bulbs? i really would like to purchase the whole set up cool tube and all but dont like ordering thing online! Although this seems its gonna be my only route if i wanna get the setup im looking for!!!

I've noticed that too. They used to sell hid ballasts, maybe they still do and just don't have them in an easy to find location. They might be with the fluorescent ballasts. I've been giving a quick look every time i'm in there.

Not trying to be rude but why not ask a worker or the store manager why they don't sell ballasts but just bulbs? I'm sure someone here will give you the answer but a manager might be more accurate.

You'll probably get a better quality light at a better price if you buy online(check out High Tech Garden Supply). In the past year I've only been to a hydro shop twice, it's so much easier and usually cheaper to order online. I could understand if you're concerned about security but people order online all the time without any issues.

shit im selling my ballast and bulb well the whole set except for the reflector for 180 and its a 400w mh and comes with 5 bulbs lol

I have not asked any employees that only because im younger and if i go in there asking about high powerd lighting systems they are gonna get suspicous and im not trying to draw any attention my way!
