HPS Blub - I have a Eiko bulb, should I upgrade?

Hi,

I purchased a 400w lumtek ballast and it came with a Eiko HPS bulb, I cannot find out much information about this brand and am left wondering - is it any good.

Has anyone ever heard of this brand / know what type of results they produce?

Is there much difference between HPS bulbs?

I am considering upgrading(?) to a Hortilux as that is what I see most people recommending here.

What do you think, any advise is much appreciated!

oh yeah you can run a cmh the best of the mh world on a hps ballast

don't waste the money on the hortilux. Stick with what you have and see how it works. If you 'must' by an expensive bulb, buy a lumatek hps bulb.
