Hello everyone can u please help me understand my hps 400w cool tube light 6" for my 2x4x5 tent in my bedroom. I do have the temp and humidity controller inkbird or what have you. I have an 4" inline fan sucking air from tent through tube to the fan outside my window. Fresh air being sucked in via vent flaps on side of tent. Ballast set at 75% and is at the top of my tent there are no plants in tent right now nor any fans inside. But my temps seem to run at 18c to 25c and humidity is low but there's no plants or humidifier so I understand the humidity help please with everything from light height to how it should be set up where I am not having to worry while at work

A 400 watter should be fine at 12 - 14 inches above the canopy, but farther for little seedlings.

As long as you are venting for heat the humidity will depend on the ambient humidity (intake humidity). I would be less concerned with low humidity than high humidity.

Know that running your lamp dimmed is hard on the lamp. The arc is less stable and it shortens lamp life.

So use 100% all time and I got a veg and flower bulb
You can dim it if you need to, but I would raise the light first. Have a spare lamp handy just in case. You say a veg and flower lamp, I assume that means you have a backup. Is your veg lamp a metal halide? If so you may want to run that lamp for the last couple weeks of flower to boost resin production.
