HPA AQUATEC 8800

Hello all. I am researching an AQUATEC HPA setup and was concerned about nutes going through the BRS 4 stage value ro/di setup that I'd like to get along with the pump. The BRS filters down to 1 micron. So my question is won't that filter out the nutes? Maybe a dumb question but I don't want to waste the money and filter out all my plant food! What set up has worked best for you guys?? Any info helps
