How to turn rosin into vape cart?

What is the most inexpensive and safest way to turn rosin into a vape cart? I am assuming it will be going with only adding naturally derived terpenes. What are so well know companies to get terpenes? Please share your experience. Thank you.
 
I found if you leave the rosin in a tiny little jar (1 gram or so) for a few days on a seedling mat its turns kinda liquidy runny and you can pour it into whatever you need. I've been making my own vape cartridges for a while now. Works great. This is after 1 day. Then it starts to get runny and turn almost liquid. Then I'll pour it into .5ml vape cartridges and hit with my vape pen. 20200703_120537.jpg

Does it clog the cart? I assuming what you are doing is essentially decarbing the rosin. I have a rosin press, so maybe i can stick it between the plates for few hours.
 
Don't seem to have any clogging issues and I just keep reusing the carts(if you notice in the picture I posted that is a reused cart). Might even work if you leave it in your closet for a few days to a week. Not sure if that would be warm enough. I also notice different strains liquify at different times. Good luck and I hope it works for you if you try. It works great for me
 
Yes. Its actually a vape cart I had ordered online filled with somebody else's vape juice. I like minr better. I just reused it. I have a few. I prolly should order some new ones tho. And I like the fact there is no additives. Just straight rosin.
 
So I'm gonna do a step by step here with pics of how I do it just for the fact that I am doing right now (going to inlaws this weekend lol). Just made some dabs. Gonna put little jar wrapped in seedling heatmatt until it turns liquid enough to pour into cart. Should be ready in a few days.20200719_191751.jpg20200719_202117.jpg

I tried this method but using different heating method. It clogged up the cart and all I tasted was burnt cotton.

perhaps the one you have, has a cotton wick and the one wazzy is using is one of these? with a ceramic atomizer instead of cotton wick?

I think i need to winterize the rosin or use 90u bag on my press. I might just invest in wax pen. It would be great if I can work this out to use 100% rosin, so convenient.
 
Just looked it up. The social vape carts use ceramic atomizers. No clogging issues. My rosin was already liquid last night. Will post more pics after work today of the rosin and then after I load the cart.

You might be on to something here. Tho i think i still need to winterize my rosin...
 
Yeah im trying to get 100% rosin cart. Most instruction either cut with something or winterize with iso or ethonal.

Yes what I saw after looking around is most carts with ceramic are designed to be mixed with 15% terps. I wonder if this could be avoided by pressing at a higher temp so you get more of the “other stuff” from the buds that is more liquidy (viscous?) instead of adding the terps.

@Wazzy do you have a pic of the rosin before you warm it to liquify?

i am also very interested in making pure rosin cartridges!
