To make Rick Simpson Oil (RSO) in a turkey roaster (often referred to as a turkey roost in some cases), you need to exercise caution because it involves working with flammable solvents. Below is a step-by-step guide:

Materials Needed:

1. Turkey roaster with temperature control.

2. High-proof alcohol (e.g., 190-proof ethanol or isopropyl alcohol).

3. Cannabis (preferably high-THC strains).

4. Large mixing container (glass or stainless steel).

5. Cheesecloth or fine strainer.

6. Plastic syringes or storage containers for the oil.

7. Ventilated workspace (preferably outdoors or in a well-ventilated area).

8. Gloves and safety glasses.

---

Instructions:

Step 1: Preparing the Cannabis

1. Decarboxylate the cannabis to activate THC:

Spread cannabis on a baking sheet.

Bake at 230°F (110°C) for 25-30 minutes.

Step 2: Alcohol Extraction

2. Place the decarboxylated cannabis in the large mixing container.

3. Pour the alcohol over the cannabis until fully submerged.

4. Mix and stir the cannabis-alcohol mixture vigorously for 3-5 minutes to extract cannabinoids.

Step 3: Strain the Mixture

5. Strain the liquid through cheesecloth into another container, squeezing out as much liquid as possible.

6. Repeat the extraction process with fresh alcohol for maximum efficiency.

Step 4: Reducing the Solvent

7. Pour the strained liquid into the turkey roaster.

8. Set the turkey roaster to the lowest temperature (around 140-160°F).

Make sure to do this in a ventilated space to allow alcohol vapors to escape safely.

Step 5: Collecting the Oil

9. Heat the liquid until most of the alcohol has evaporated, leaving a thick, dark oil.

10. Use a syringe to collect the oil while warm for easy storage.

Safety Tips:

Avoid open flames: Alcohol vapors are highly flammable.

Work in a well-ventilated area or outdoors.

Monitor the temperature closely to prevent overheating.

RSO is extremely potent, so use it responsibly and consult a healthcare professional if needed.
