You use the "sugar" trim. That's the small leaves that you remove while manicuring your buds. Use any leaves you take off of the plant except the large fan leaves.
The best way is to buy some Bubble Bags. You can find them on Ebay at a reasonable price. You should save up around 8 ounces of trim before you start. All it takes is the Bubble Bags, ice, water, a five-gallon paint bucket and a good mixer. Believe me, with this combo, you will be making world-class hash.
Here's an example of some good quality, one gallon bags made by Bubbleman. I bought his five-gallon bags and love the results. Bubbleman has been making these bags for years now. A little more expensive than most, but the high quality material he uses means a longer use life.
