How to make a Basic Stealth Grow Kit?

I have been doing research for quite sometime about how to grow efficently, have a high yeild, and not get caught by parents or po-po's. I am most intrested in hydroponics and would like to start a small hydro closet stealth kit i just don't know how much room i need for growth, if i really need HPS lights or if i can go for somethin cheaper and still hav a fairly high yeild. How many fans i need, what ventiliation to use, or the nutrients needed. Lets just say im a noob with some basic understanding just lookin for some solid info. anyone who could give me some info, it would be appreciated.

You would need a fan to pull air from inside the cabinet out. You probally want a cabinet that sits above the ground this way you can drill holes on the bottom of the cabinet to bring air into the cabinet.

How big will your cabinet be? If you have a big cabinet that is tall you can probally use HPS but if your cabinet is short then you probally want to use CFL lights.

Will odor be a problem? because you can conect a carbon filter to your fan and any odor coming out of your stealth cabinet will go through the carbon filter.

well ya want the as many fans as it takes to keep the temp around 75. i found a 600w metal halide set up for 200 bucks and it seems to be doing just fine on my hydro set up. roseman made a great thread on hydroponics and DWC systems. he may be the place to get more answers

I dnt have that much room i just wanted to make a small efficent grow kit, i just dont know what the mininmum size could be for a hydro grow kit, i also know a little bit about stunting the growth, i just when something that doesn't smell, and produces quality dro's at a fair price.
Also i dnt think i would be able to have a 600w light as my parents are heat score fucks which is why im so hesitant about starting (but im sick of paying for weed), i just want to know the bare minmums ill need to strt and ill check out rosemans thread for sure thanx for the help

you will need AT LEAST 75-100 bucks to build an area to grow the plants even if you already have a perfect cabnet. then expect (your parents) to pay another 20+ a month on the electricity, thats how i got caught the first time. if you are gonna take the risk with your parents and actualy build something by hand its better to go all out and make an ill-nasty super stealthy grow cab, rather than the piece of shit cardboard growboxes i and others have tried.

i guess i mean to say plan it all and go all out before you actually plant your seeds so all your care and work dosnt get destroyed for nothing

I would use CFLs and use the scrog method. If you invest in a good stealth grow now, when you do move out you can keep that cabinet and use it again. If in the future you grow in a bigger room, you can use the cabinet for your clones.

Iam guessing you might be using four to five 42 watt cfls at the most. Heat will be a problem, and since your have to be stealthy, your options for cooling your cabinet are very limited.

You should not be growing in your parents house without them knowing. Just my two cents. Usually stealth is far from basic so be prepared if you want anything worthwhile to smoke.

i agree w desert fox. its going to be near impossible to do all of this w/out them knowing. either way its a risk you gotta evaluate. stealth hydro is great but what are you gonna do about the buckets of water, and all the other crap youll be entering your house with?
