how to get it to bud???

we planted in may, moved inside in Sept. it has been on the 12/12 schedule since. I am in Michigan. !st time growing. its 1 plant under plant bulbs we got from my brother. The plant has branched off, looked like it was going to bud but then it kept growing and the bottom leaves and what looked like soon to be buds have now started to dry up and fall off. How do we get it to stop getting taller its over 5 feet tall and still growing with no signs of bud. the plant is now almost 8 months old.

i was having similar problems. one reason is that i didn't have hps bulbs. what i ended up doing was turning the time back to 8 hours instead of 12 until it started to bud, then i returned it to 12/12. you may want to trim it back a bit if it's getting too tall. it will continue to grow taller ALOT MORE even when it's budding. good luck!

Could you be more specific about what kind of plant bulbs you got from your brother? What kind of bulb are they?

lol 8 fuckin months?? you sure its a mota plant? you couldve been on your 3rd crop by now. the lights you have are probably shit. how many watts does it have?

if your plant is getting any light at all during the dark period it would cause your plant to not bud. 12 dark 12 light is what it calls for!

i red it as his plant is over 5' nd he dosent want it getting taller . if hight is an issue start bending the top over gradually ,

ypu will get lots of help from all the rest of the morans by attacking widow. did you take the time to look at his grow journal before you decided he was a moran. Did you look at his other posts. Of all the people posting on here I find most of his very helpful.
