how to get bigger buds?

My plants are 4 weeks old about 6 inches and beautiful. UNder cfls. Im going to wait another 4 weeks before i start flowering, is their anything i can do now so that i get bigger buds? Like clipping the bottom leaves/ Particular fertilizer/ anything? Im a rookie but have done good so far. Just trying to get some more insight on how to get more bud for my bucks. ANy suggestions. i have been using compost around them. Somebody told me to put earthworms in the pots to keep the soil rich. WOuld work but is it worth it? HELP

Idk... maybe u got an outrageous cfl setup.... but imo, if u want more weight it begins with light, the more the merrier! The best way to do that is by upgrading those cfl's to an HPS light when it comes time to flower. CFL's are great for veg, but come time for business, nothing compares to hps..... cept hps+mh of corse.
