Do you start seedsin soil after you germinate or can it be done in hydro?
Why would you want to do that? God, If I had a dollar for every time that question has been asked. For simplicity sake, could I start in soil after I germinate and transfer to hydro?
He'd rule with an iron fist!!!Why would you want to do that? God, If I had a dollar for every time that question has been asked.
Just the opposite of making it simpler, that just makes it harder. Soak your seeds in water or wet paper towel, when the tap roots pop, plant it tap down about a quarter inch (or less) in moist, but not soaking, ph balanced rockwool.
If you're gonna grow hydro, make the entire process hydro. Soil is yesterday's news... let it go.
This is all discussed in basic growing stickys and has been discussed countless times in older posts btw. You guys better pray I never become a mod.
I guess it is kinda nuts to think people will somehow stop asking the same noob questions over and over again despite all the information already here and elswhere. He'd rule with an iron fist!!!
Run!! No, leave your children, theirs no time! Just run!!!
†LOL† keep in mind most of us are lazy stoners, and the search function works none to well. Though, as a tip noob, you can do a google search and just include rollitup and it'll do a search of the forum better. I say most of us because I've only been able to smoke again in the last 3 days, and my dealers number no longer works
For simplicity sakes yes. You can. However if you look at the plant in my current grow, It was transplanted from soil to hydro after its first 4 days in soil. It was shocked to fuck, and didnt do any growing for almost 6 days. Its best to start them in rockwool, then put the RW into your growing medium. For simplicity sake, could I start in soil after I germinate and transfer to hydro?
†L† fucked up thing is, I understand. I grew up in a library, not literally, but we had a shit ton of books, including alot of diy books. I can't tell you how many things I've taught myself from reading. With that said, I like being able to ask people with experience.I guess it is kinda nuts to think people will somehow stop asking the same noob questions over and over again despite all the information already here and elswhere.
I'm just a little bitter because I didn't have anyone to hold my had when I got started. I just did what I did based upon the conculsions I was able to extrapolate from the reading I'd done on my own. I guess that's why I get a little annoyed when someone asks questions like "What's the best hydro system?" or "When should I start giving nutes to my seedlings?" or "When should I start to flower?" or "What should my ppm's be?" or "how often should I change water?" or "can I germ in soil and transfer to hydro?"
Yes, I would rule with an iron fist, so it's probably best that I don't.
I'm actually a benevolent lord. Most of the time.†L† fucked up thing is, I understand. I grew up in a library, not literally, but we had a shit ton of books, including alot of diy books.
