How to flush a plant/I have PH level of 7

Help please,

I want to know how to flush my plant out, reason is because my new shoots are all twisted and showing signs of zinc def. I talked to my local hydro store, and she agrees that it is most likely a zinc def. I know by flushing my plant, I would be able to take out the junk that built up. Please help!!!!

Ok, lower your ph just a tad bit and basicly drown your plant in pure water a few times. Let all the water run through your soil and drain out the drain holes. But drown it once and wait about like 3 minutes and do it again. I would do it like 5 times or so. Just dont let the soil break up and float around your pot.

I would wait until the plant dries out a few days, then flush completely, then feed her again with normal nutes (right after the flush). Just wait a few days. You dont want to overwater or waterlog your plant. Make sure the water you flush her with is PH balanced as well.

thanks for the reply, but I already flushed her. I got her PH down to 6.5 and I'm really happy with it but I don't know if her new shoots that were affected will recover.



To everyone:


I'm posting some pics of the new shoots, I think I might have to top all the shoots that are damaged. Which is almost every shoot on the plant, but I'll probably top the main one's first give her a rest and top some, give her some rest and then top her. I was thinking after I get adequate amount of tops for the colas, I would do SCROG. What do you guys think, I should do? SCROG or keep with the Tie downs?

I marked the pictures where the damage is, on one of the pictures if you can see her hair from the small bud. Somehow I can't get good shots of the hairs or buds. anyways, here's Runt J.

just flush them.they should be ok after that.i've got same probs(almost..not a zink deficiency, but overferting and burn with hps)and after the flush they became much better.the fold has gone within 2 days completely.be careful with the nutes and ferts!!!

after you flushed them, did you give them nutes right after or did you wait a week or so? cause the some leaves I think are beyond recoverable, and this is on the main shoot. thanks.

yeah dude, week will be ok.then give them half dose of nutes to see what will happen.peace

do you think I should chop(top) the new shoots because they are pretty fucked up, and I don't think they will make it from recovery. I'm worried that it will give the plant more stress trying to repair itself. rather then just chopping off the problem, or is it not a problem?

When I Rechecked The Ph This Morning It Was At 6.7, I Know That Is Good, But Last Night After I Flooded It, It Was 6.5. Is This Normal? But Yeah Please Help Me With The Questions Above....

It got tall. It still kind of looks a little messed up. I heard some people even flushed their plants for two weeks straight to get out the junk. good luck with your plant, she should become a monster.

i dunno.it looks healthy to me.but thanks. i hope it's actualy she and will become a monster.last night i've proceed with the 12/12 and i'm waiting it to show it's sex.peace man

p.s:i topped my plant because it was fucked anyway and this is my experimental crop before the real shit(i'm aiming to "big bang"; or "Hymalaian gold" feminized from the Green house).

I hope you got room in grow area, because I would like to see your plant grow double her(hoping your plants a she) size. Then I think your bud production would be pretty huge.

Update on my plant:

This morning I found her new shoots that were affected slowly opening up. I think once she has majority of her new shoots back to normal, I'm a start cloning her. That way, I will have more tops in the end, make her even more bushy. I'm still debating if I should SCROG her, or I should just keep up my tie down style. I like the tie down style, because I could imagine trying to flush her when or if I SCROG her. Well, I'll post up the some before and after pics when I get home from work today. Let me know on your progress cheetah420!!!
