I cool 6 1000 Watt HPS Magnum 6" XXLs with a single HO 8" Inline fan.

All my ducting is metal 8", with reducers to 6" running to the lights themselves (6" lights)
I have 2 16 foot parallel straight runs for an intake/output - with 3 sets of 2 lights in between.
I ran slightly smaller lights than my main runs to help keep the velocity of the air flow higher.

You can accomplish the same thing by running 10" mains with a single 12" fan, and use 8" air
cooled lights. I'll upload a diagram of my setup here in a bit.

I have a 20x18 room with a 10,000 BTU A/C unit, and my daytime temps are only 4 degrees
above my night time avg. at 48% Relative Humidity.
