How soon can you nute?

Is there a general rule regarding when you can start to nute (number of nodes, height, ...)?

I'd appreciate any advice.

As the above poster stated....Thats a pretty good guide to go by...However...Sometimes your seedlings will require feeding sooner than that.

I just started feeding 1/4 strength nutrients to my week old seedlings.....Cotyl's were yellowing and so were the 1st set of leaves.

Im feeding and the sprouts are ok. If you feed early....pace it slowly. You can ruin your plant before it even starts if you feed at too strong of a strength.

if i'm growing in organic soil/perlite/vermiculite, i dont fertilize in the first month.. every strain/plant is different, just dont use nutes too early and always start at 1/4 - 1/2 strength.. :peace:

You can begin feeding around 3 weeks or when the plant hits its 4-5th node. Don't start feeding full strength either.
