hey guys,

im planning to run 4 600w hps in one of my bedrooms and i have a circuit board which only connects to a stoves 4 prong outlet. question is there an extension that i can buy or make that can run this outlet to the room? or what is my best solution?

thanks guys

the outlet you have is a 220 V
if you have 220 V plugs on your ballast you can plug them into there and save money on your electricity bill

hey toms thanks for the reply, what i mean was does there exist a 4 prong extension cord for the stoves power outlet that it plugs into so i can run this into my grow room and mount my circuit board near the room instead of mounting the board near the stove

I would not use a extension cord for anything, go and buy some long J cords that are the same wire gauge or check for the proper wire gauge size

so if i run 4 600w hps,
should i get a switch board pluggin into the stove outlet or dryer out let and run the power cords from the ballasts to the switchboard? or put the ballast near the switchboard and run the power cables to the rooms. since the stove outlet is in kitchens whats the best way to do this?

hey guys, what do you think about getting a 220v circuit board(plugged into the stove outlet) and getting an extension cord running into the rooms to plug al lthe ballast into. question will the extension cord be able to handle the 4 ballast? or should i run 2 cords.
