How Should i Hatch my Baby Girls!?

so i am doing a test-run with some bag seed just to see how long it would take and what it would expect and it has been at the least around thirty-six hours and nothing still.

i just got my baby girls in and want to pop em in the grow plug right now but i still need to do some more finer adjustments to the cabinet.

so basically my question is -- should i hatch these girls in the bark plug that is in the hydroton above the bubbling reservoir? or should i hatch them in a paper towel and two plates and then just plop em in the bark plug after they hatch?

i am asking this because i cannot spare any of these baby girls, and i want to be 100% sure that they will hatch -- which i can never be right... Christ may never let em hatch... i hope so.

but anyways -- bark plug? or paper towels?

First, get some wet paper towels (not soaked but nicely wet) and place your seeds on them, then either fold the paper towel over the seeds or just place another wet paper towel over it, place it in a plastic bag (zip-loc preferably) and close it, check back every 12-24 hours to see if they germinate, this is the best method, always works for me with no problems.

thanks brother...

so you would say 100% of the time fems would hatch using the paper towels and zip-lock?

has it ever failed for you?

do you use tweezers or just your fingers?

Never failed bro, I use my fingers but make sure your hands aren't dirty and be very gentle with the seed, once it germinates at this point, plant it with the root facing down.

The paper towel method, I think is by far the best. The only way you could mess them up is leaving them in there too long. Usually a tap root within 24-48 hours. Sometimes sooner

dude thanks so much brother. i think im probably going to be using it. hey let me ask you... how long does it take to sprout??? because i want to wait and see if this thing is going to sprout... i planted it in the bark plug almost two days ago. when do you think i would see a sprout? because im itchin to put these beautiful whores in a zipup.

awesome thanks brother... yeah im hopin that the tap root has already planted and the sprout should be coming up soon in this bark plug hatch experiment. how long do you think it would be until it sprouts?

I'm assuming you are all water farmers. I am strictly dirt. However, once that little white tap root appears, the seed SHOULD be in it's starting position in whatever medium of choice, and NOT "ploped" or in anyway disturbed. The reason being, that tiny tap root has microscopic "hairs" that WILL be damaged in ANY manner of handling. Yes, I know that folks do this all the time, and No, it's obviously not always fatal. But think about the times you've paper toweled and transfered a nice fat seed with about an 1/8 inch tap, and have the bitch give you the Big Razzberry and FAIL!! It's really not that big of a deal, but I like to give my girls every break and edge that I can come up with. So by starting my seeds in the coconut cups and seedling mix, those microscopic root hairs are never touched, and I just might have avoided losing "The Girl of the Decade!" I wish all, Good luck & good grow.......BB

well thanks for saying that -- im going to pay extra close attention and probably just run up to the dollar tree and get some tweezers so i don't touch the bitch. but then again i am the Temple of the Holy Ghost, Jesus Christ our Father -- as we all are -- and Christ willing He Will Touch the seeds Himself, and not me. though in my case He'll probably be like, "you bitch, you ain't gonna get this." and ill be looking at two dead babies! i don't want to be a murderer!

i am actually birthing my children as we speak... Honey B has already hatched... i am waiting on Blue Cheese...

yeah i scratched that test run with hatchin em in the bark plug, and its a good thing i did because they did nothing.

Christ Willing all will go well and the Blue Cheese will hatch shortly and i will be able to start it up!!!



then i still have to wait months until i can reap the rewards!!! this is some serious hard work and i haven't even begun training the baby girls or anything! Christ Willing all is well.

thanks for your help rips... if it wasn't for you i would not have a hatched Honey B right now. ill let you know when my baby girls enter this world for real.
