It is not illegal to buy cannabis in Colorado at the moment but it is illegal to sell it, unless you are a medical retail store selling to a patient with a card. Not sure what angle the feds would be going for but risk seems minimal for the buyer. Regardless, I would not trust anything you buy on CL. If you have a card your best bet is probably an MMC for clones and bud and seeds. Of course you can also buy seeds online.

If your a big dude like me... i would just go check it out, if your hard up for smoke... i would say no to the seller if it wasn't good...however i am legal and as the previous poster stated, the feds aren't looking for people who buy weed online ... maybe if you were selling it, i would be concerned ... be careful though lotta criminals on CL..if your not hip to the the dirt on the streets and aren't prepared for what could happen in transactions such as these, then maybe just avoid it..

You can get a card for less than $80.
Even 20 years ago when I was poor I would have jumped at that.
That card gets you in the door of hundreds upon hundreds of weed stores. Granted, about 90% of them are mediocre or worse, but there is good weed out there for cheap.
If you want to shop, you can get first timer deals all over town.
I get vape pen cartridges at Colorado Harvest Co. (?) If it is your first time there you can buy any 1/8th for $10.
Their weed looked pretty good, so why not? I have 18 jars of weed at home, but the Strawberry Diesel was not too shabby.
If you get a clone from a guy in a parking lot and it has bugs/fungus or is not what is claimed, you are screwed. If you get clones from a dispensary they are accountable. I get clones from dispensaries from time to time and have not had a problem. I always check them carefully. After all these years you would think that dispensaries would know they can get a bad reputation for selling clones with bugs.
More and more dispensaries are selling seeds.
$80 for an all access pass is a good deal.

i used cl for everythig except for weed..
but i was temped as u are so i went ahead and hit up a dude that had ograskle fire og. alian fire. and sum dna la con and sum other. needless to say had some good strains.
met him up in target parking lot as soon as he walked up i got a bad vibe he was nervous sketchy and sounds scarred. had random cars sittin around starrin at me. and his clones were all weak. they were rooted well.but look like they came off a week plant. i would call it a bagseed. i would not do again

Your percentage of getting a Suck Ass strain is very High, Not getting the strain advertised is very high.
I have a friend that has a friend that just makes clones and pops them on CL. I know for sure that it's bunk.
Just buy some overseas seeds. The odds are in your favor of getting what you paid for.
As far as buying weed on CL...never did and wouldn't recommend it...Sketchy people.
