How not to start a DWC

Last week I posted a plan for a DWC system. I am sure no one else has ever had this trouble. After running the system with out any plants for three days as a dry run I added the plants and choose the worse media I could have ever chosen. Woke up in the morning and some of the media had plugged up the lines between the two 35 gallon tubs and lots of water on the floor. Knowing that trying too cleanup the water and save the plants I was left with the only option of transplanting the plants into soil and taking the time to regroup and re-think my mistakes. Instead of running such a large system tied toegether, I have enough equipment to run two seperate bubbler systems. Carpet is still wet. Plants are doing well and .....:spew:

I was running two 35 gallon res with two recirc pumps and the equalization line between them plugged up. My mistake was using cocoa shells. I have used them in soil grows and it gives a great smell during flowering, but some of them oit through the openings in the baskets and the rest is history. This grow is bag sead from some red hair that was around here last year. I am getting some babies in a couple of weeks of higher quality and I will start over with them. I will just let this grow continue as is. After 1 week they are to big too try and retransplant back into hydro.:hump:
