that ? is wayyy too vague. It all depends on how long you want to veg them first. I mean hear is an example; you could take 3 ft x 3 ft x 6ft tall space and grow 5 plants but you would probably want to start flowering at 12 inches or so... or you could put one 7 gal pot in that same space and veg one single plant, top it a couple times, vegging would be like 6-8 weeks and you would get the same amount of pot as 5 plants with one huge one. In other words you can use any size space you want (except too small, pc case) and just grow your plants/train them to fit that space. It's a guessing game basically until you get good at growing, I'm going through it right now with my plants, I'm going to wait a lil longer to get the size I think i need for my space. i bought seeds i have no experience in as i thought i would learn more that way by just researching ( 3 months so far ) and tackling problems as they come using this site for the record the seeds are nirvana blue mystic and nirvana indoor mix

I vegged these 4 plants for about 6-8 weeks under a 400MH, theyre 10 days in flower now under a 400HPS in a 4x4x7 and are starting to grow onto each other a bit. If you want them a bit on the smaller side only veg 4-6 weeks. Hope this helps some.

+rep is that star you see below my post... ya I have the same plan, winging it and getting help here, it works! Good luck on your grow. Do a grow journal when you get started i will help u if i can. Remember your plants will be over double or triple the size after you flower, starting with 12 inches will equal around 3 feet or a bit less finished, roughly, depending on strain. I'm going with 20 inches and hoping for 4 feet maybe 4.5 feet finished. The plant stretches alot in the first three weeks of flowering, preparing for the flowers to come. ~ ciao
