How much space & what light for 4 dwarf autoflowering plants?

I got some feminized automatic white russian seeds waiting to growin my growbox that I havnt made or got any parts for yet!

As I only plan on having 4 growing at once the grow space wont need to be very big (I think the tallest they grow is 14") what size box would someone with the knowledge recommend, and what light should I use? the guy next door has a 400w HPS but that would be way to hot for such a little grow box. LED's look like they are way to expensive and I know nothing about cfl's.

Can anyone offer some advice on getting me started please.........

You can use the 2700 spectrum CFL's from start to finish. Personally, I would use an HPS and I do use a 400w with no problems. You can probably build a lil 3x3x3 box and hang a 250w hps or a cluster of cfl's

I am not a cfl user for flowering, but I think 2 of them should work pretty well in a small space.
