How much longer do you think?

I was just wondering how much longer you think my girls have left, 1 white widow, 1 Diachem and 5 Cheesy dick, not sure which is which though as i forgot to label them when transferring pots! duh! its currently 57 days into flowering. Cheesy dick strain states 56 days till harvest but would rather go by hairs, trichomes etc, first grow and scared to death! Am i ok to dry in the tent and what humidity should it be at and how long do you recommend drying for before curing??

Thanks

Pic 1,3 and 7 all look just about done to me. Maybe just let it run with straight water for a few more days. Pic 5 and 6 I'd say about 10-14 days.

Looks good for your fist grow man you should be proud! If all your plants are done at the same time you can dry in the tent, thats what I do and run my filter to cut down smell. Drying time is hard to give an exact time frame. It depends on how you trim it, how broken down the limbs are, and your RH in your area. An average for wet trimmed bud is about 3-6 days, depending on your set up. Bud should be slightly crunchy on the outside and the stalks should just start to snap and not bend. It takes a little while to get a feel for it honestly, just trial and error.

Get yourself a hygromemter or ideally some boveda 62% packs and mason jars for curing and you should be good to go.

Happy smoking man!

They still look dark green like they are packed full of nitrogen. Maybe with a good flush and plain water for a week the leaves will start to yellow off. Otherwise the smoke will be extra harsh.

Citation?

Yellowing leaves does not affect all plants. Nor does it mean a good, smooth smoke. I've grown plenty of OG's and other high altitude strains that will never yellow. They stay dark till chop and it has nothing to do with N levels.

Unless you have some empirical proof that dark leaves = harsh smoke that is.

Which you don't.

I agree......... doesn't look like he has been flushing...... the buds themselves look about
done though

The plants look ready. I'm not a "flusher" and feed till I chop and rarely get yellow leaves.

It works for me.

I only get yellow leaves on certain strains. I can feed to the end on my Headband variants and get yellowing and fall off and flush the last 2 weeks on my OG's and still have dark leaves when I chop.

I don't want to get into flushing arguments but yellowing leaves is not indicative of high nutes in all strains by any stretch of the imagination.

I'd say it's done now. It doesn't really make a difference whether you flush or not, just cut before the lights come on. (12 hours dark).

If you want a better idea if it's done, use a pocket microscope to check the trichomes.
