A PPFD of 1,000µmols is on the high end for cannabis - the light saturation point for cannabis is 800-1000µmols. I've run my autos at 850-900 (Gorilla Glue) and 850± for my current Strawberry Pie auto grow.
My data represent the average PPFD for the samples that have the highest sets of readings. I discard the low values that crop up on the edge of the tent because my concern is to ensure that the parts of the plant that are getting the most light are in the 900µmol range.
Per the DLI comment - absolutely correct. You can pick your photoperiod for autos and I run 20/4 so my DLI is generally in the high 50's with some spots in the mid-60's. Cannabis loves light.
"Fading fan leaves/too much light becomes easily done" - "easy" - not grow light installed itself and turned itself on. There's so much information and help available that if a grower repeatedly inflicts damage on his plants, that's a learning problem not a lighting problem.
