How Much Is The Average Yeild Of A Marijuana Plant?

.5g per watt of HID lighting is a rough guide, it's impossible to judge by foot of growth as some strains get really bushy, are you growing in soil or hydro? I'd read as many things in the FAQ as possible and you'll realize why this question isn't really answerable.

Sorry folks, but there is no such thing as "average yield" of anything off of a marijuana plant. There are dozens of variables and who's to say what's the average grow or set-up or plant size or strain, get my drift???? I see people watering with an eye dropper and others with flood systems powered by fifty gallon drums. Some use shitty soil while others have elaborate hydro systems. Some folks grow outdoors while others grow indoors. Some folks know what they are doing and some don't, yet! What's average and who's to say??? I have seen this .5 gr per watt stuff as well as 1 pound per light, as in 1000w metal halides. But who's to say, eh? Some folks look at a dollar value per plant but that is bogus as well. What if one plant is 6' tall and another is 3' tall? Just use the most wattage you can and feed them buggers as much as they can choke down and see what kind of yield you get. It won't be average, that's for sure.

Don't go by grams per foot of growth, it's meaningless.
Use grams per watt of light, .5 grams per is a starting point, good growers can get more grams per watt.

So About How Many Watts Would I Need 2 Grow A Pound?

It sound like you havent grown an 8th yet so forget about a 1lb

Get real grow a plant first and see how much you take off of that...then next time try and beat it... "maybe" one day you will grow a 1lb

its like a motor man, get all the pistons to fire correctly and it will preform well

If you ordered seeds online, they would have a spec sheet on it. It may tell there what to expect. But who knows, it all depends on strain, lighting, nutes, etc. Grow one and find out.

If you had 2 1000w hps lights.
You need 8-16 female plants depending on your height restrictions.
You need extreme intake and exhaust.

Depending on your expiernece the first time you try you would be lucky to get 1 oz per plant with the afore mentioned lights.

With optimum conditions and years of expierence you could get up to a pound on each plant.

Do not hold me to those figures.
I was speculating.

I would like a strait forward answear to this ? too... I am looking to buy a state of the art hydro/areo cabnet system.. and spend 5-8k on it if need be. I have never grown before. my wife is a med. user and we plan to start providing to patient as well according to our state laws. im really trying to pin down as best i can what the biggest bang for my buck will be. space is limmited in even the largest cabnets that i have found 8x8x2 ft. and more importanly how many harvest i will need to produce the amount needed. just the basic yeild per plant and avg. growth times. with this type of setup. co2 fogers auto ph ect... guess anyone ???? thank you ! O and does anyone have a dream hydro cabnet setup they would sugest???

when i would grow using a 150W HPS I would avg between 21g and 26g a plant..Im sure you could squeeze more through lst training and other techniques, but that was an avg for me..

I have a 600 now.

it all depends on how much care you give the plant.
and what strain it is.
