Those huge bulbs lighting the highway may be one of two types - LED induction lights/luminaries, which are probably not powerful enough nor do they emit light in the spectrum that makes plants grow so I wouldn't worry about that too much. Or they might be High Pressure Sodium, a lighting system with which i'm sure you're very familiar. These can and will fuck with your plants' dark/light cycle IF they are close enough. Again, I wouldn't worry too much unless your plants are really close to the highway. Plus the thick trees will help dissipate a lot of the light. For what its worth - the street lamps on the road in front of my house are HPS and I have never had a problem with my plants, which are located no more than 150 feet from said lamps and are offered no protection from the light via thick woods
Anyway, good luck hope your grow goes well man! Peace RIU!
