If you start a thread, as the original poster you have the right to delete it.
There are good reasons it is set up That way. Someone may have no choice to delete a thread for personal reasons out side of this forum. It could be immediately or years down the road. It is fair.

Here's the best advice I can provide you:
If you don't want any of your posts or likes removed, stick to posting on your own threads.
Only a mod can remove them other than you.
Complaining about the order of the forum makes the member look butt hurt.

I tried telling him that....he just doesn't understand things that well is my guess.

there should be an apology to the OP..for all the misdirection and interruption of the OP's thread...
if you can't stay on the subject,start your own thread and discuss whatever it is there..

I can't ever remember deleting any of my own threads. I rarely delete a post either. The mods here do that...that is their department.
