How many plants in a 5'x5' grow tent?

I was planning to upgrade my grow tent size to a 5'x5' so I'm asking how many full size photoperiod plants, or medium to small autoflowers can you fit in there easily?

Do you mean full size photoperiods or smaller autoflowers? Maybe 4'x4' is enough for me then, how many do you think can fit there?

Autos, I don't know...
I've had up to 35 plants in my 5x5 doin sog.
16 would probably fit in there comfortably.

There is no good awnser to your question as there are far to many variables to consider. What do you consider "full sized" photos? What kinda genetics do you like to run? Not much difference in size between an auto and a photo run sea of green style. With photos you can veg and train for as long as needed to fill up virtualy any space with what ever number of plants you want. I run much smaller tents (2×4="'² 3×3=9"²)but would generaly put one photo in a tent and veg it until i fill out my squar footage then flip and allow the strexh to go veritical. Currently im trying to run though more genetics quicker so using smaller pots and less veg time 6 is a bit tight in a 3x4(12"²) without a scrog net. So 9 plants properly scrogged in 25"² is probably a good ball park. Ive run 3 autos in my 3x3 and had spce left over 4 would have been fine and 5 was probably doable but tight.
There is no standard plant size some grow short and bushy some grow long, some put on lots of branches that need to be spread out some put on fewer branches that you can spread out over.

Im of the belief that the benifits of using grow tents decrease as size is added, anything bigger then a 4x4 and your probably better off just fitting out your room as a grow space

I agree 4 autos in a 3/3 works well

I'm new grower, I have experience from only 1 grow now. I had 2 Northern Lights autoflowering and they were quite small and probably could have fit 3 of them in my current 2'x4' tent. Now I have 2 White Widow photos growing in there. What I am hoping is that I could fit at least 5 plants in there, and 5'x5' tent is max i can fit here in my apartment.

I have to sleep in the same room where I grow, so it really isn't an option to make full room as grow space.

I don't use phone, I just hate to type with it. Also I use Linux, but I don't think that matters here...
