How many plants can I flower in my tent?

Hi guys,
I'm growing in a 1m x1m x2m grow tent and was wondering how many plants I SHOULD be growing in an enviroment of that size?

My first grow was 2 plants that i brought on from cuttings which resulted in nearly nine ounces. My second grow was 4 plants that yielded 14 ounces and I can only guess that the relatively "lesser" ammount of the second grow was due to the fact that the plants had less light/space in which to develop? (I guess there could be plenty of other variables also)

Motivated by 14 ounces from 4 plants I've made my current grow 5 plants hoping that I can achieve even more next time. Am I being foolishly greedy/over expectant?

I'm growing in soil, 4 x 15 litre pots and 1 10 litre pot under a 600w light powered by a digital ballast and the strain is green cheese.

I was going to end this post here BUT I also have a question regarding shade leaves.

My plants are in the second week of flowering and they have a lot of big old "leathery" looking shaders, do i leave these on or are they best removed and when removing shaders is it correct that they should be cut off at the leaf end rather than the main stalk end? If yes, why so?

I hope I havent asked tooooo much too soon as I've only just joined this community.

Also i say leave as many leaves as you can for smaller plants. under 4 feet theyll use all that energy for production and storing nutrients. If you can just bend them you would be better off.

if you are pulling 4 oz off a plant keep doing what you do , maybe you could put 6 in instead of 4 or something like that, improve on what you have done and dial it in rather than change anything drastic

Thanks for your reply. If i was to use smaller pots, yes I could fit 8 or 9 plants in my tent but I'm using 15 litre and a 10 litre pot because i was told that the roots would establish better and my plants would be stronger overall. Using the pots that I have in my tent I'm pretty much maxed out for space and if you take the yields of my first 2 grows into account is the yield per plant likely to decrease radically by cramming more plants into the same growing space.I really am a "newbie" and what may seem obvious to you is not so obvious to me.
