So, what kind of lights should be put on young plants? I have one that just germinated less than a week ago and I'm not satisfied with the variables of growing outside, so I decided to put it inside under some CFL grow light.
Its surrounded by white paper double-thick to reflect light, maybe 12 inches in diameter going up 12 inches. I have the light(s) hanging maybe 2-4 inches above the tip of the plant. Lights are 23w 6500k CFLs. Now, I have plenty of lights so I can put as many as needed on it, but how many do I want to have on it at this stage?
When I first put it in I had two right above it side by side, but it just seemed excessive so I unplugged one. Can anyone shed some light on how much light should be shed on the plant as it grows?
