WOW WOW WOW... getting carried away there brother.

LMAO.. way too many lights.

Your talking about a THOUSAND watts per light.. and your asking how many of these would someone need, to light up a 1000sqft space.. correct?

It's def. going to be less than 16 of them.. probably cut that in half.. for a total of 8. Maybe.. MAYBE.. one or two more than that... for a total

of 9 to 10, 1000watt lights.. to have adequate lighting.. over a 1000sqft space.

That's what I would guess anyhow..

I'm saying 8 to 10, 1k lights.. for the 1,000sqft space. I say 8 to 10.. because I'm picturing my basement.. which is right at 1,300sqft.. and picturing that in my head.. (the ceiling).. yeah.. I think 8 to 10, 1k watt lights would be adequate lighting for a 1,000sqft space.

I'm sure others will give you their advice as well.. but that's a pretty good solid estimate.

Either way, good luck to ya's.

peace.. and have a great weekend.

how tall is your ceiling? are you growing in trays or buckets? and along with lighting what is your cooling looking like because to get a good photon fall on your leaves you need to make sure you can keep the temp right. figure that if your room is 1000sqft. with a 10ft. ceiling you can find out what your cubic feet is, then your lights lose 80% power after a 2ft. throw of light. so if you have keep your lights cool enough to be within a ft. of your canopy you will need less lights. yet if you cant and need them higher you will need more lights, the main thing to think about is lumen and temp. i have had plants burn and also under lit it just takes a bit of work to dial it in. the hort. bible has some really good info to help you or if you dont have access to hit me all your demin. of the room & i will do the math
