How long into flower do you take clones

So to do a monster crop how far into flower do you wait to cut clones? I do not have space to veg out clones if I take them now but further along in this grow and a longer reset time on the clones may give me the time i need to clear my space and reset to veg. I've got one girl in particular I think is a perfect candidate to try cloning/monster cropping and scrog for my second run she wants to Bush out so nice and flat after topping and she's proven to be a easy goin girl to my newb mistakes.

Propagating is best done in veg not in the flowering stages. The reason is that hormones and other plant processes that regulate flowering are throughout the entire plant and if you take cuttings the part you've cut are "confused" for lack of a better description. So those cuttings will go into shock for a bit before reverting back into veg. The cuttings will even push out a few flowers.
Keep a mother plant if you can. If you can't take the cuttings when the plant is quite bushy. Easily a few months into veg but at least a month from germination.
I'm curious to know where you read to take cuttings in flower? But do you see where it doesn't make sense?

It's called monstercropping. It's a real thing. Happens everyday.

You put them back into veg like a normal clone. Remove any budding material and away you go.

Clones from the bottom work best in flowering, since that is now where all the hormones are.

It's called flowering clones and monstercropping. It's easy and common.

Sounds about right. So long as there are flowers forming. They take longer to root for sure but produce like mad.

Pinch the flower off like you are fimming it. Don't leave the cute little bud.

That's what I need is time. I only have a 2x4x6 tent and just hit my first week of flip and I'm thinking if I'm able to wait longer till flower take my clones they take longer giving me more time. I do have a 2x2x4 tent for my wifes potted plants but theres not much room in there so I need them to stay small until I clear the bigger tent and reset

They will. Do not overwater. People give up on them too soon.
