How long do you veg your plant?

im growing white widow topped and they stayed pretty small they are 4 weeks old growing under 400 watt MH should i give it more time or just flower they triple in size when you flower right? im just scared of getting low yeilds with small plants LOL.........................PS can you identify the problems in these pics if not thats cool...peace guys

it will grow approximtely 3x the height when you start flowering.. I just go with how much ever space I have and bloom accordingly.. I usually try to wait as long as possible just for yield sakes..

I think that's the first time I've seen someone say x3 most would say x2 or less. I get right at x2 with my 400w.

If you are worried about poor yeilds try supercropping or pinching them. You can vegetate indefinitely though. I've just started supercropping in my journal and there are tutorials on You Tube. Its a lot less stress than tipping and you get to keep your main growing tip. My plants love it.

I'm a NL guy and mine actually grow almost 5x the height.. I just used that number as an estimate, you're right tho, some dont grow as much as 3x..

depends on the strain ive had mine grow x3 last grow.. but some grew less than x2..

yeah WW prolly get 3xish with 400w. ideally veg according to your grow space and you could try to pair up lsting your top foliage and pruning that lower 1/5th of growth at the bottom when you decide to flower so youll get good dense buds. some veg for around 1.5 to 2 months for good sturdy plants with good yeilds but feel free to veg even longer given the space and patience.
