How long do seeds take to sprout?

Ok ive just Planted and im giving it no light i planted last night and was kind of worred about it having no light (outdoor grow) so i read up and read that no light for the seed in soil is fine aslong as it get light when it sprouts well when can i expect it to spout ?

seed germination is greatly speeded up and encouraged by a little heat, if the weather gets warm wherever you are, remember and keep the soil moist and it will sprout quicker, if weather is cold you may have to wait longer.

I've waited almost three weeks for seeds to sprout when burying seeds direct into soil outside, really depends on where you are and what your temps are like. As has been already stated, if it is still relatively cool out, they will take a bit longer.

Patience is key when sprouting seeds outdoors ;)
