i just orderd 20 seeds what is the shortest time to vegg before i put them outside

Put them outside and mother nature will veg them for you.

Are you in the northern hemisphere? The US, Canada, or Europe? Not Australia or South America?

If so, depending on exactly where you are, now is the planting season.

For spring planting, make sure the threat of frost has passed, and that you've got at least 14 hours of daylight, otherwise start 'em indoors until then.

None require but ahead start will bulk up your yield. The more the merrier

Germinating them inside up till the seedling stage will give them better chances.

About a day after they come up from the soil you could put them in sunlight, but make sure you keep them moist and free from bugs.

Cannabis will devour as much sunlight as you can give it.
