How long do I flush before harvest?

I am on my first aeroponic grow - I have read that when using a solution such as clearex that you should anywhere from 3-14 days before harvest. Can anyone with hydro/aero experience narrow that window down or give me a more accurate number?

Thanks

Yea, 2 weeks is what I hear but I'd be more interested in finding out if thats because the buds don't really grow much after that or if the nutes just affect the taste.

Half the stuff I smoke I think isn't flushed when I buy KB's but I will flush mine for 1 week prior to harvest.

its the taste. most cannasuers flush to get the most pure taste of the bud without any interference from possible nute additives that might still be lingering at harvest date. but i honestly cant tell the difference bewteen 1-1½ weeks and 2.

Before harvesting, the plants should be fed plain water only (no fertilizer) to remove any fertilizer that has built up in the plants themselves, and the hydroponic media or soil they were grown in.

If you are growing hydroponic marijuana, start clearing about 7 days before harvest. This can be done by changing the solution and using only distilled water or water treated with reverse osmosis (no nutrients). Some growers will change the water two or more times before harvest because the media may hold nutrients.

With soil you need to change to distilled water or water treated with reverse osmosis about 14 days before harvest. Avoid slow release fertilizers because they are hard to remove. Growers that have to use slow release fertilizer can use regular nutrients for the last month.

Well, flushing time is different for each kind of hydro system. Before you can cause the plant to use its stores of nutes, you must deplete the nutes from the medium. With aero, there is no medium, so that time isn't needed. When you change the res to water, and Clearex, the plant starts using its nutes right away. I'd say for aero, to do that for 3-4 days and you will see overall yellowing, and can harvest at any time.

So with Aero do you, when using AdvancenNutes "Final Phase" is that considered the 7 days of water, or should I use 7 days Final Phase and then 7 days plain water?

I was just wondering if you could use neut's all through harvesting if you water cure your harvest after? I heard it can remove allot of unwanted stuff out of the plant vs air drying. Even if you couldn't run neut's all the way through i bet you could at least flush later?
