How Long After Taking Clones Should You Wait To Flower The Mother?

The title says it all, how long should you wait to flower a mother after taking cuttings? I asked the guy at my local grow shop he said give it about a week to let them recover from the stress. It seems to me like they'd bounce back quicker. I took clones on Friday, and I am planning on moving them to flower this Wed (I really want to move them tomorrow, but patience is a virtue I guess.). Should I be good, or should I really wait the extra couple days til Friday?

I personally think that atlest a week would be best, moving a plant to flower is another big change as well. However, if you think your plant is healthy looking enough after the cuttings then it shouldnt be that big a deal.
