How is everyone getting so many plants in small tents?

Everywhere I go these days, people are telling me they grow 2-4 autos in 2x2 tents, and that they are getting 6 plants out of a 4x2, yet their yields are always from 3-6 ounces regardless

I thought I'd be able to get 2 autos in a 90x50 considering all the crazy amounts people are growing in single tents on the Internet, but at week five now, I'm just going into pre flower and the plants taking up the majority of a 90x50. I'd say I've got 7 or so weeks left, there is no way of could have grown two plants in here lol.

How is everyone getting their plants small enough to fit some many in a 2x2, and what is the point of they are pulling the same as a single plant grow spread over four plants?

A mates got a 6 week gorilla glue auto in an 2.5x2.5 and it's a few cm from the sides, and 3 ft tall already and is only in week one of flower. How is everyone getting their plants small enough to fit some many in a 2x2, and what is the point of they are pulling the same as a single plant grow spread over four plants?
There is a ton of space left in there. Can fill them right up to the walls. I ran 6 plants in a 2.6'x2.6' tent. Everything was right up against each other and wouldn't do that again. It was a PITA all around from feeding to airflow.

People might be running multiple plants for variety of strains. Multiple plants won't get you any more yield, grow space is grow space.

Im used to 6ft photos outside so having leaves so close together they sweat unless I go in and move them every few hours freaks me out. Even with fans and the door opened, the leaves are impeding their own ability to breath due to proximity. If the leaves don't get shuffled around every hour or so some get that wet through perspiration that they literally drip. I couldn't imaging having 6 plants in here haha.

How do you control.perspiration? It was only 60% humidity in there today, and the plants leaves that were touching each other were soaked...it's crazy. If I don't move the plant around every few hours and tie different branches out, the inner leaves literally sweat themself into rot.

I used lots of fans, air circulation is very important. That and the AC Infinity exhaust ran 24/7 on 10.

Short veg time for smaller plants means you can fit more plants in the tent. That's what I do. I grow multiple different strains at any given time. I don't do any defoliation at all. Sometimes they get pretty crowded. They don't seem to mind.

You also get a faster turn around than training one or two plants for 8 weeks before flowering. In the end you can get about the same yield with more smaller plants but you harvest sooner.

That's probably not going to happen until you're dealing with buds. You need an exhaust fan or a dehumidifier.

A canopy is a canopy. It will all basically yield the same as long as it's full. I do think bigger plants will hold bigger colas though. And like the dude above me said, they love airflow. So there's a balance between maximizing space and maximizing the environment.

People lie. No guy has a short dick and they can grow 6 plants in a shoebox and get weight using an LED flashlight.

10 2gallon pots in a 4x4. Flipped at 3-4 weeks from rooting. Heavy defol and scrog. Best yields in my space. I can get more from 4 5 gallon pots. But too much of a pain playing with the extra size and weight in a small space. I can't imagine trying in a smaller space now days.

You can get more out of a space than you realize. Just have to put in the effort and commitment.

I'm calling shenanigans to the highest order. Just transferred the plant into a 70x70x140 tent, and did a bit of defoliation...this plant is midway through its fifth week and fills out the tent pretty well, lights are only 12" away, and it can't move up further unless I remove the yoyos and zip tie it to the top of the tent.

I think your all pulling my leg. If I was to train this out, it would hit the sides of a 3x3 tent, and still be near on 3 foot tall. Considering there's at least 5-6 weeks to go, there is no way I could have for any more in here. The plant already sweats profusely, to the point of dripping off touching leaves at 60% humidity, I'm in awe as to how you guys are doing this.

How is everyone keeping their plants so small?

I think everyone I have spoken to has had this backwards. Everyone has been telling me to grow autos if I'm short on space, and the majority of autos I have grown have been far smaller than the photos I have grown, even with the same amount veg. Pretty much every single source I check says autos are smaller, quicker to grow, only veg for 3-4 weeks.

The last photos I grew only vegged for 25 says, and still ended up 5 ft tall, and too big for a 3x3.

Are people going to 12/12 initially, or like week two or something with photos in sog tents?

I have 4 photos in the back yard currently, and have been growing photos for years, so I don't need a rant about autos being inferior, I'm well aware, but they do have their advantages regardless of whether people like to go on superiority trips when they are mentioned.

Yea lots of people that run numbers like that run grow from clone only not seed and it usually goes something like this clones are cut, once rooted put into 1 or 2 gal pots let them veg 12 days and flip to 12/12 check out the thread in my signature. I got about a ounce a plant in that grow they were 6 inch clone flowered out in half a gal of soil under about 180w of led

Cheers. Thats good to know...I didn't even consider them being grown from clones, and it makes sense. I'm surprised that completely slipped my mind.
